Saturday July 6th, the museum received an original Bob Duden putter. Bob Duden invented this croquet-style putter in 1960-61. He was a pro in Portland Oregon, and distributed his “dude” putter from the trunk of his car at the local professional tournaments in the North West. Bob Duden was actually the first PGA tour professional to use the croquet-style putting. Most historians believe Sam Sneed was the first, but not really.
