VANCOUVER CITY MIXED CHAMPIONSHIP
The handicaps for each player were added together to produce the team handicap. The difference between the team handicaps determined the number of strokes the lower team handicap had to give to their opponents.
The event had an 18 hole qualifying round. The low 32 teams based on net scores qualified for the championship flight. The team in the top of the pairing contacted their opponents to determine a date for their match at a designated venue. The match could be played at anytime during the calendar week determined by the Committee. The match must be completed by the Sunday of each week. The final was played on a designated course seven weeks after the qualifying. In the beginning years this event had the largest number of players attempting to qualify than any other ICGC event.
