British Columbia Golf (BCGA) and SCORE Golf have teamed up to present a Golf Gala evening to celebrate the game and its champions. It will be held at the Vancouver Convention centre on March 19 with a reception at 6:30 PM and dinner at 7:30 PM.
The evening, hosted by SCOREGolf’s Bob Weeks, will provide a sneak preview of the BC golfers who will appear on the 25 Greatest Golfers in Canadian History list to be published in SCOREGolf Magazine’s March 29 newsstand issue. The program will also celebrate British Columbia’s sweep of the top three on SCOREGolf Magazine’s 2010 list of Best New Golf Courses in Canada; The Ridge Course at Predator Ridge in Vernon, Shadow Mountain in Cranbrook and Redstone Resort in Rossland.
During the course of the night they will also recognize last year’s award recipients from all of BC’s various golf associations, including British Columbia Golf, the PGA of BC, the NGCOA and the BCGSA.
